HELP Logistics is seeking a Regional Advocacy Advisor – East Africa based in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Regional Advocacy Advisor will lead stakeholder engagement and advocacy efforts across East and Southern Africa, while contributing to broader regional and global initiatives. The role focuses on building relationships with senior leaders, policy makers, donors, humanitarian organizations, and development partners to advance HELP Logistics' thought leadership and influence.

Key

Develop and implement the regional advocacy and engagement strategy.

Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and sector leaders.

Organize and facilitate workshops, roundtables, consultations, and stakeholder dialogues.

Produce briefing materials, opinion pieces, publications, and advocacy content.

Support the dissemination of research findings and thought leadership outputs.

Monitor policy developments, donor priorities, and emerging regional trends.

Identify opportunities for influence and strategic partnerships.

Collaborate with regional and global teams to translate evidence into action.

• } We are looking for a dynamic and motivated professional with a strong interest in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, policy influence, and strategic communications. Required Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Public Policy, International Relations, Communications, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, advocacy, policy, partnerships, or external relations within NGOs, humanitarian organizations, development agencies, research institutions, or international organizations. Demonstrated experience in organizing and facilitating workshops, conferences, roundtables, or policy dialogues involving senior stakeholders. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical or research content into clear and impactful messages for decision-makers. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a cross-regional and multicultural team. Experience working across cultures, disciplines, and time zones. Excellent command of English. Preferred

Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Existing network within the humanitarian or development sector in the region.

Experience in policy advocacy, research dissemination, or think tank environments.

Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or humanitarian operations.

French language skills are an asset.

Additional regional languages are an advantage.
