As Sr Manager - P&C and Labour Relations, you will be a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving people strategies, labour relations, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness. You will play a key role in supporting business performance while ensuring compliance with Senegalese labour legislation and fostering positive employee relations.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Strategic HR Partnership

Partner with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned to business goals.

Drive local execution of global P&C initiatives.

Support organisational transformation, capability building, and change management.

Labour & Employee Relations

Lead labour relations strategy and workforce engagement initiatives.

Manage union negotiations, wage discussions, and employee representative consultations.

Represent the company in disciplinary hearings, disputes, and grievance processes.

Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to labour legislation.

People Advisory & Talent

Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, mobility, and succession planning.

Advise leaders on performance management, development, and organisational design.

Use workforce insights to improve retention, engagement, and effectiveness.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Champion DE&I initiatives and promote an inclusive workplace culture.

Ensure fair, ethical, and people-focused practices across the organisation

Relevant degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology, or similar field.

Accredited Labour or Employee Relations qualification.

8+ years HR experience, including significant exposure to labour relations and HR generalist functions.

Strong knowledge of Senegalese labour legislation, union engagement, and collective bargaining processes.

Ability to manage complex employee relations matters with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
